New Age followers of The Law of One have a habit of preaching to me as if it's a new revelation to mankind. Typically, these are newcomers to the spiritual path who found the books through some self-proclaimed "secret-space program whistle-blower" such as Corey Goode and David Wilcock, or a young guru who claims he can levitate and control the weather . . . enter Bentinho Massaro.

They don't know that the gospel of the Law of One is nothing new — it is repackaged Christianity, Theosophy, Alice Bailey, the Seth Material, and other channeled sources. I can't help but find it amusing when someone passionately lectures me about the alien revelations they think were freshly endowed upon the human race. If it was an alien revelation, the alien drank Christian and Theosophical cool-aid.

Also called the Law of One, the "script" purportedly emanated from an alien collective called Ra through the head of a New Age/Christian lady named Carla Rueckert. She was a devout mystical Christian with a strong love for Jesus Christ. Her partners in crime were Don Elkins, the questioner, and Jim McCarty, the scribe.

One of the many ironies with New Age teachers is that they die just like everybody else who does not channel advanced civilizations. One would think that they would die peacefully in bliss with their spiritual message. But Don Elkins committed suicide, and Carla died of a painful bone disease, which should raise red flags on this team of psychonauts. Alien orators not only die like everyone else but have never offered one ounce of information that mankind didn't already have or imagine in the history of channeling.

Carla, the Actor and Sci-Fi Writer

It is no surprise that Carla was an actress, filmmaker, science fiction writer, Christian, and New Ager. It was this cocktail that invented the Ra storytelling.

Carla Rueckert began her career in film by screenwriting and acting. She began this part of her career in the early 1970s by beginning the film The Hidan of Maukbeiangjow (also known as Invasion of the Girl Snatchers) and she would write the screenplay, supervise the script, help design costumes, production design work, set construction, and even act in the film (using the pseudonym Ellen Tripp) after an actress quit the day before filming. She would go on to work on four more films. The Zebra Killer, Abby, Asylum of Satan, and The Force Beyond. The production company, she and her friends, ran to make these five films was titled L & L productions which disbanded after The Force Beyond, which was nicknamed The Farce Beyond by staff members as they realized how cheap the movie was. Repackaged Religious Dualism

In a nutshell, the Ra Material teaches that Divine Creator wanted to experience itself in a finite form. So, it incarnated into human primates (bottom of the ladder), so it could travel up the various densities until it returned to itself. It created two paths to travel for the experimental journey, Service to Self and Service to others:

'Service to Others' is described as an energy center that radiates out toward other beings. This results in compassion, love, feelings, and acts of service toward others.

'Service to Self' is described as an energy center that is pointed inward. This causes the entity to feel love for itself but not for others. These feelings lead to self-serving intentions and actions or service to self.

In other words, a lower and higher self, or Christianity's version of the spirit and the flesh, "Christ in me the hope of glory," and the "man of sin." The command is to serve the Lord and his flock and don't be selfish because you are born in sin. To put oneself first is of the Devi—Bingo!!! Independence and individuation have been the enemy of the church since its inception. Why? Because this leads to doubt and critical thinking. The Devil has always been a pain in the ass for the devout and faithful slaves of dualism.

David Wilcock, the Copycat Opportunist

David Wilcock, who touts the Ra Material as his bible, spent much time with Carla and Elkins in the early years. His life was so transformed by the alien script that he took it upon himself to channel Ra. I can only imagine what Carla was thinking when Wilcock usurped her position. I also find it rather humorous that he doesn't mention he channeled Ra in any of his seminars. This failed attempt at stealing Carla's idea backfired on him, and he tried to sweep it under the rug. The Plagiarized Alien Script

Since everything in the universe is One, all manifestations, or "appearance" of multiplicity, is an illusion. It is an illusion carefully engineered in order to give the Creator the opportunity to know Itself. The same idea exists in the Theosophical doctrine:

"Everything proceeds from (or manifests within) this single Reality; there is only one common Life that pervades and sustains the whole universe. Every form of life is an expression of this Unity."

"Human consciousness is essentially identical with the ultimate Reality, which Ralph Waldo Emerson called the "Oversoul." This one supreme Reality, being the root of our real Self, is shared by each of our particular beings, thus uniting us with one another."

In other words, this is repackaged religion. Humans born in sin from the Orthodox Christian tradition have been transformed into containers for this energy for the experience of spiritual evolution. "Creator" is just another word for God, and the "universe is One, and every manifestation is an illusion" is another way of reversing reality. The true reality is spirit, and the illusion is the natural world. This is the same message of dualism found in all religions and New Age doctrine.

I have to laugh when people rebuke me for accusing the Ra Material of being repackaged Christianity. Not only was Carla a lover of Jesus, but she used the word "Logos" throughout her message.

According to the alien collective called Ra (which was nothing more than Carla's imagination inspired by her Christian/Theosophical reading habit), each galaxy is a creation of intelligence called Logos. The Logos creates many sub-Logoi, (stars, star systems, and planets). For example, one sub-Logos would be our Sun and another our Earth. Throw in the rest of the planets, and you get the picture. Then you have sub-Logoi that create sub-sub-Logoi, the category of which human beings fall. All the Logos are a microcosm of the Creator. The Logos created a stairway to heaven comprised of 7 levels (densities) for spiritual evolution (journey back to Source).

The original use of this word comes from the bible and refers to the "Word of God" and then in the New Testament as the "Word made flesh" in Jesus Christ.

In Christology, the Logos (Greek:, lit. ''Word", "Discourse", or "Reason'') is a name or title of Jesus Christ, derived from the prologue to the Gospel of John (c 100) "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God", as well as in the Book of Revelation (c 85), "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." These passages have been important for establishing the doctrine of the divinity of Jesus since the earliest days of Christianity.[1]

When Christianity, mixed with Eastern religions, was regurgitated into Madame Blavatsky's Theosophical philosophy through her books "Isis Unveiled" and "The Secret Doctrine," Logos was the central theme throughout her work.

One of the most frequently occurring terms and concepts in the teachings of Theosophy is that of Logos.— BLAVATSKYTHEOSOPHY.COM

"It is an eternal and periodical law which causes an active and creative force (the logos) to emanate from the ever-concealed and incomprehensible one principle at the beginning of every maha-manvantara, or new cycle of life." (HPB, The Key to Theosophy p. 62)

"The Logos, being no personality but the universal principle" . . . (HPB, The Secret Doctrine Vol. 2, p. 318)

Then you have the next-gen version of Blavatsky's work through — Alice Bailey:

"Logos. They act as the transmitter to men and devas or angels, of the will of the Planetary Logos, and through Him of the Solar Logos. d. To set an example to humanity. . . . This Hierarchy is composed of Those Who have triumphed over matter." (Lucis Trust).

Then you have the 7 densities plagiarized from Theosophy. First, let’s look at Ra's version.

"The creation has seven levels or densities; the eighth density forms the first density of the next octave of experience, just as the eighth note of a musical scale begins a new octave. The creation re-emerges between the seventh and eighth densities in a period of timeless, formless unity with the Creator. It is Ra's understanding that the ways of the octave are without time; that is, there are seven densities in each creation infinitely. They point out, though, that the limits of their knowledge are narrow." 

Next, let’s look at the original source from the Science of the Seven Rays.

"We might begin by asking, Why seven rays? Why not ten or twelve, for those are also numbers of considerable spiritual significance? The number seven features prominently in the human perception of the structure of the world: the seven colors of the rainbow, seven notes of an octave; in occult cosmology the seven major planes and sub-planes of existence; and in the calculation of time, the seven days of a week. Then there are the seven sisters of the Pleiades, the seven Rishis of the Great Bear, and the seven Spirits before the Throne of God. All are essentially living forces carrying the one Life into expression, seven great interpreters of the One Essence as it takes on form."

The cosmology of the Ageless Wisdom explains the seven rays so profound, so occult, that it's beyond the grasp of the human mind. But to summarize and thereby grossly simplify it, one Life sought expansion as part of the initial Plan.

Then you have Ra teaching the 3 Distortions:

The First Distortion

The first distortion is free will, or finite, or the limit of the viewpoint.

The Second Distortion

The second distortion is Love, or Logos, or Creative Principle.

The Third Distortion

The third distortion is light.

Returning back to Theosophy:

"Initially, that Life expressed in triple formation: as Life, Quality and Appearance, or Monad, Soul, and Personality; Will, Love, and Intelligence. The seven rays are the first differentiation of this divine triplicity: from three major rays, four minor rays unfold to reveal the sevenfold nature of divinity. Yet the seven emanations came forth from the central vortex, and as such are seven aspects of one whole and therefore interrelated. "Each of the great rays has a form of teaching truth to humanity which is its unique contribution," Alice Bailey wrote, yet only in their composite do we understand nature of the One, of Deity." 

And then you have the Christian trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, which are 3 parts of the Godhead or, as Ra puts it, "Divine Creator." But let’s not stop there. Jesus of Nazareth was a central figure in Carla's life. She had a deeply profound relationship with Jesus from the age of two. So of course, it had to be included in the Ra bamboozle.

Questioner: Can you tell me if Jesus of Nazareth came from the Confederation before incarnation here?

Ra: I am Ra. The one known to you as Jesus of Nazareth did not have a name. This entity was a member of the fifth* density of the highest level of that sub-octave. This entity was desirous of entering this planetary sphere in order to share the love vibration in as pure a manner as possible. Thus, this entity received permission to perform this mission. This entity was then a Wanderer of no name, of Confederation origins, of fifth* density, representing the fifth-density* understanding of the vibration of understanding or love.

Questioner: How did Jesus learn [how to heal] during his incarnation?

Ra: I am Ra. This entity learned the ability by a natural kind of remembering at a very young age. Unfortunately, this entity first discovered his ability to penetrate intelligent infinity by becoming the distortion you call angry at a playmate. This entity was touched by the entity known as Jesus to you and was fatally wounded.

Thus, the one known as Jesus became aware that there dwelt in him a terrible potential. This entity is determined to discover how to use this energy for the good, not for the negative. This entity was extremely positively polarized and remembered more than most Wanderers do.

Another channeler that is more responsible for New Age thought than any other disembodied babbler is Jane Roberts and her invisible buddy Seth. She is the source of "Create Your Reality Teachings" and the idea that we choose our embodiment along with all our suffering, such as rape, child molestation, genocide, torture, you name it.

Another point on lack of originality, notice the similarity of "The Seth Material" and "The Ra Material" — she might as well channeled Seth as the new voice box.

In late 1963, Jane Roberts and her husband, Robert Butts, experimented with an Ouija board as part of Robert's research for a book on extra-sensory perception. According to Roberts and Butts, on December 2, 1963, they began to receive coherent messages from a male personality who eventually identified himself as Seth. Soon after, Roberts reported that she was hearing the messages in her head. She began to dictate the messages instead of utilizing the Ouija board, and the board was eventually abandoned. 

For 21 years until Robert's death in 1984 (Rheumatoid arthritis), Roberts held regular sessions in which she went into a trance and purportedly spoke on behalf of Seth's discarnate entity. Butts served as a stenographer, taking the messages down in homemade shorthand, although some sessions were recorded. These messages from the Seth personality, consisting mostly of monologues on various topics, are collectively known as the Seth Material. [6]

Here's a quote encapsulating the Seth material's version of "Divine Creator" and its "experiencing itself" through all creation.

"There is a God, whom Seth referred to as 'All That Is' and described as a primary energy gestalt. God is composed of self-replicating and inexhaustible mental energy and contains all of Creation within it. God is therefore a gestalt of all existence, as in Pantheism and Panentheism (a gestalt being a whole which is greater than the sum of its parts). The mental energy of God is the composite substance of all things, including all beings, all universes, and all events and phenomena. God's consciousness extends into all things as they are created and is therefore omnipresent. For these reasons, all things in existence, including physical matter, have life and consciousness. God wishes to experience existence in all its forms and ramifications, and through its creations is able to do this. God is therefore dynamic and ever-changing and shares in the failures, triumphs, perfections, and imperfections of its creations. The individuals that exist within God, though part of God, have free will and self-determination." 

The Failed 2012 Prediction

One of the things that conveniently gets swept under the rug from L/L Research is the failed 2012 date that Carla taught was THE EVENT for her repackaged rapture. Hailed as the great date predicted by native cultures, "The Harvest" (repackaged ascension) was where all her teachings pointed to. That was the date that determined who would fly up into outer space or stay stuck on terra firma. That all depended on if you were good "Service to Others" or bad "Service to Self." I could create an entire website that shows the copycat teachings of the Ra Material and how her ridiculous teachings were words salads of woo. There is NOTHING new here. The Law of One is the imagination of Carla, influenced by her Christian upbringing and metaphysical education. To believe that some alien collective couldn't develop an original idea is to coddle a level of gullibility that would turn a Buddhist monk into an atheist.
